September 9th apple had release iPhone OS 3.1, today October 9th here is yet another update for iPhone OS 3.1. Apple released iPhone OS 3.1.2, exactly in one month addressing several issues regarding waking from sleep, network service disruption, and crashing during video streaming.
Apple said iPhone OS 3.1.2 is compatible with the iPhone, iPhone 3G, and iPhone 3GS. The update is available by plugging your iPhone into your computer and clicking on the update button in iTunes select on update and accept license and wait for iTunes to download OS 8.1.2 update.
The main bug that Apple fixed was causing crashes while video streaming, but like aforementioned, it’s gone now. The iPhone 3.1.2 OS is now available for download via Software Update, and it’s ready for all iPhones including 2G and 3G, as well as for the iPod Touch.
