I am writing this for Gmail and Yahoo users only becaue i tested successfully on those. Friends most of times our spam folder is very busy with the lot of spam mails but we dont know that who they sent and where they sent. Some adult mails also appears in our inbox in few cases. Most of us are very much curious about where do these spam mails come from ? it is simple trick !
This will works in Gmail and Yahoo – 100%, through this we can track the persons IP and Location particular email sender. For this one should know about the what is an email header and how to view the email header ? in Gmail and Yahoo mail. I will explain clearly once you learn about the concept ” How to find Location & IP address of the email sender ” you will rock then.
Users:- Login to your Gmail
- Inbox — > open any email
- Now at right side you can find Reply button with down arrow (See the pic), those are called the E-mail headers
- After press down arrow you can see the drop down as above
- Now click on ” Show Original “
- It will generates a new window with some lines
- Copy entire lines and open this site IP Finder
- There is a window “ For email tracing copy and paste an email header in this field: “
- So paste the lines you copied before and press ” Trace Email Sender” button
- That’s it you got !
Mail Users:- Login to your Yahoo mail
- Open any E-mail
- You can find the headers at E-mail bottom right
- Click on Full Headers link
- Now it will generates the window containing the original message and the header information, hear header information you can find at top most place with gray color background
- So simply copy it from top to bottom ( Only header not the entire mail)
- Now follow as above like Gmail, paste that code in the IP Finder
- You done !
