Activate AT&T MMS for iPhone 3G and 3GS OS 3.0 and 3.1 via iTunes

Hi friends Apple has posted a support article outlining the process for activating MMS, which involves updating a carrier settings file on users’ iPhones via iTunes.  Apple and AT&T have just activated the MMS  feature for the iPhone 3G and 3GS running OS 3.0 and 3.1, but you do have to update your phone in order to use it. Just follow the procedure i gave.

Here is the procedure :

1. For doing this one should have internet connection
2. Connect your iPhone 3G or 3GS to your computer. and open iTunes
3. Select your iPhone from the devices list.
4. After then click the “Check for Update” button,  and click “Update Settings” when prompted.
5. After some time this will complete the procedure then you will get the following screen
6. Finally restart your iPhone.
7. If you see the camera icon on the left of the text field then you are done. this will looks like this ( i indicated with Green color)
